Treatment of Front Discolored Tooth with Metal Free Crown |
Harshaben
Solanki, a middle-aged woman from Jamnagar, visited our clinic with a concern
that had been troubling her for years—her front tooth had turned dark and stood
out every time she smiled.
She
shared that as a child she had suffered trauma to this tooth, and though it was
treated with root canal therapy, the tooth gradually lost its natural color
over the years. What once was a healthy tooth had now become noticeably black,
making her feel self-conscious in social settings.
On
close examination, we also noticed that her opposite central incisor had a
small corner fracture. Together, these issues were affecting her appearance and
confidence.
The
Treatment Plan
We
recommended a highly aesthetic LiDiSi E-max crown for the discolored tooth,
known for its natural translucency and lifelike appearance.
- First Visit – We carefully shaped the tooth to accommodate the crown, retracted the gums to capture precise margins, and prepared everything for the lab to craft the perfect crown.
- Second Visit – The E-max crown was placed, blending seamlessly with her natural teeth. At the same time, we restored the chipped incisor with a tooth-colored composite filling.
The Result
Both
teeth now looked absolutely natural—one restored with E-max and the other with
composite—so perfectly matched that no one could ever guess they had been
treated.
Harshaben’s
reaction was priceless. With a bright smile, she said she finally felt free from
the embarrassment of her dark tooth. She deeply appreciated the technology and
care that gave her back her natural, confident smile.
✨A true
transformation—where dental science and artistry come together.
