Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe.
Your Dr. Bharat Katarmal dental and implant clinic is covid ready clinic, means we maintain all hygiene standard according to IDA and DCI guidelines and provide dental treatment with prior appointment only.
The safety is a major priority for us and we strictly adhere to our high standards of sterilization and hygiene. Being a patient of our clinic should make you feel safe since everything is transparent. We are proud of our sterilization equipment, benchmark for high-quality work, which we consider a must for every dental clinic.
In light of the evolving pandemic, out of an abundance of caution to protect our patients and employees, we decided new safety protocols.
Here are few changes to expect during your next visit:
- We follow public health guidelines strictly.
- You must book an appointment. It is essential that we space out our in-person appointments in space and time. Strictly no walk-in patients allowed.
- You must inform us if you have any signs/symptoms of possible COVID like fever, dry cough, tiredness, aches, pains, sore throat, diarrhoea, red eyes, headache, loss of taste or smell, skin rash or discoloration of fingers/toes and difficulty breathing.
- Please wear your mask before you enter the clinic.
- We will ask some screening questions relating to COVID-19.
- We will no longer have newspapers, magazines and toys in the waiting room.
- We will take your temperature with contactless infrared temperature gun and ask you to gargle with a betadine mouth rinse.
- Please allow us time for enhanced disinfection between patients.
- Please use hand sanitizer when you enter and exit the dental clinic.
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This might mean you will be offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
- Only patients with appointment and one guardian permitted in dental clinic.
- Social Distancing in effect, maintain six feet of distancing at all times.

We have thought long and hard, about the safety of staff and patients alike. We did not make this decision lightly. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision.
We have spent endless resources in establishing new guidelines and office upgrades to re-open to provide the best care we can provide to our patients while maintaining highest level of safety. Again, please understand that we are implementing these changes with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind.
